Specific Responsibilities:

As a Marketing/Social Media Manager you will be assisting the Leadership Team, all Practice Leads and Engagement Managers with the Business Development initiative. You will be leading the marketing function for the entire organization, to include all industry practices and technology practices.  Our Marketing/Social Media Manager will drive branding and our strategic message to the marketplace.  You will ensure that there is a clear and consistent message throughout all social media and marketing collateral. Additional activities for the Marketing/Social Media Manager include assisting in proposal preparation, conference preparation, editing marketing collateral, white papers, and any other required publications.

In addition, the Marketing/Social Media Manager will participate in firm-building initiatives and activities that contribute to the growth of Archetype Consulting and our people.  We are not looking for just anyone. We are looking for individuals who have demonstrated the ability to deliver, who can collaborate and work in a team, and who enjoy learning and solving challenging problems.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage Archetype’s high impact marketing, communications, content, and social media strategy from concept design through execution.
  • Guide Archetype’s strategy development for B2B, social media, and content marketing efforts.
  • Work collaboratively with Senior leadership, Practice Leads, and Engagement managers to design and execute marketing resources to support all business development efforts.
  • Design, develop, and/or edit content for marketing collateral, branding, corporate communications, white papers, conference material
  • Distill essential core requirements that directly align with the business needs to implement the most optimal solution.
  • Participate in project planning and delivery action items as requested by the Senior Leadership.
  • Understand, develop, and deploy solutions across various systems.
  • Works within project deadlines, schedules, and multiple competing priorities to consistently deliver high-quality work product.


  • BA/BS Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in marketing, corporate communication, advertising, or publishing.
  • Experience in, or familiarity with, high technology and/or service industries strongly desired.
  • Experience with data, analytics, and databases.
  • Must have demonstrated prior experience working on a cross-functional team. Please include examples.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project and Taiga is a plus.
  • Must be able to legally work in the United States and pass a background check.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and high pressure environment to manage competing priorities, meet agreed upon deadlines, and deliver high quality materials.
  • Must have a “can do” attitude and have the ability to remain professional in high pressure situations.
